Digital Bank Revolut Is Valued At $115 Billion

Revolut, a digital bank that deals in cryptocurrencies, has been valued at $115 billion U.S. as part of a secondary share sale.

The new valuation is 53% higher than a year ago and makes Revolut one of the biggest privately held companies in the world.

The digital bank priced its shares at $2,017 U.S. each. The transaction allows employees and other current shareholders to sell stock rather than raising new capital for Revolut.

The valuation has more than doubled from $45 billion U.S. in 2024 and makes London, England-based Revolut Europe's most valuable private company.

Last November, Revolut was valued at $75 billion U.S.

The latest valuation puts Revolut ahead of established banking giants such as Barclays (NYSE: $BCS), which has a $95 billion U.S. market capitalization.

The company's app lets users trade more than 200 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (CRYPTO: $BTC) and Ethereum (CRYPTO: $ETH).

Revolut's app also facilitates asset transfers to external wallets and allows people to stake their crypto holdings.

The company also manages a standalone crypto exchange called "Revolut X."

Revolut reported $2.3 billion U.S. in pre-tax profits in 2025, up 57% from a year earlier. Revenue rose 46% to $6 billion U.S. last year. Its customer base is now above 75 million users.

The company secured a license last year that allows it to offer cryptocurrencies across the European Union (EU). It also has a full banking license in the United Kingdom.

Revolut says it has applied for a U.S. national bank charter and hopes to be valued at $200 billion U.S. or more in a future initial public offering (IPO).

As a private company, Revolut's stock does not currently trade on a public exchange.
